When May comes

In May, cherry blossoms begin to bloom in Canada, and sprouts that have waited throughout the winter among the cold and lean branches of trees begin to bloom. When a warm day comes, I feel a little excited looking at the flowers that bloom, and when I meet the spring rain, my emotions get more sensitive. Maybe that's why I remembered the above poem.

Kim Chun-soo's "Flower" is a famous poem that even appears in Korean high school textbooks. This poem gives the name ‘flower’ to an object that would have been nothing, and that object turns into a meaningful being. Even if the generation, society, and the environment changes, human beings want to be loved, give love, become a valuable person, and live in the hope of the moment when their name and existence become precious to someone. Regardless of what kind of appearance you have, what kind of job you have, or what kind of life you have lived, you long for your own existence to be valued and beautiful. I don't think this just means a dating or married couple. I think it means everything that everyone in the world feels in their lives.

What creates a precious relationship is a mindset that sees you are a precious and valuable being. Of course, a "flower" can be a person or not. What matters is how much meaning can be given to it, and how much value can be found. We are all beautiful and precious beings. And it's not hard to make your own "flower." I hope there will be many moments when I make my own "flower" and live a life that becomes a "flower" for someone.
