emotional, and psychological barriers through a wide range of counselling and educational services and programs.
In collaboration with other social service organizations, FUTFS raises awareness of social issues and supports clients
in the community through the progression of a healthy lifestyle and gradual integration into Canadian society.
Healthy WalkathonThis event is held regularly every year to
raise funds at the Telephone Counseling
Education Center of Life. Everyone who
participates in this event has an opportunity
to help the For you telecare family service
and provide a better and more active
counseling and education service.
This event is specially organized as a team. A
walkathon will be held with the leaders of
each team every 15 minutes. Departure
times are all set differently between 9:00
and 12:00, so if you let us know you want to
participate, we will notify you individually
after the time is set.
Children’s CampChildren’s Camp, following the workshop
‘Parenting Skills with Children,’ is a summer camp
which parents and children will participate in
online using Zoom. These camps will be held
Mondays and Tuesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00
noon twice a week for four weeks, starting on
Monday, July 5 and ending Tuesday, July 27. In
these sessions the following topics will be
discussed: discipline and parenting styles, study
habits, EQ and emotional regulation, physical
activities, arts, effective communication skills,
knowledge about children, and the language of
love. Orientation will be held during the first week,
and a graduation celebration and certificates will
be awarded the last week.
Mind & MotionMind and Motion is a two-week youth summer
volunteer program. This will be held from 10
am to 4 pm. This is an opportunity for youth to
gain social and leadership skills and discover
what careers to choose in the future. Because
of COVID-19, we cannot do volunteer work in
the community and society or go to a one-day
retreat. FUTFS provides opportunities for youth
to learn and experience through various online
workshops and virtual activities. Youth
participants will get to know each other
through emotional expression, empathy, and
by understanding of the feelings of others.
Upon completion, participants will receive up
to 50 hours of volunteer time and references!

A year has passed since the pandemic began, and we are now living in a new era.
Who would have imagined that we would live in such an era? The joyous times we
spent face-to-face with our family and friends, and the escape we found through
outdoor activities in the past are now banned, or restricted, and we realize that we
have been taking them for granted. Somewhere during the progression of covid-19,
we have become aware of out unfortunate reality, where more and more people
are anxious, depressed, and experience suicidal thoughts. Hospital visits are now
more frequent, and they have become an unnaturally normal part of our lives.
However, there are no experts to go to when you are unsettled in your mind or
soul. This is why many people feel a lot of neglect during these times. Will all
problems be solved as time passes? Sometimes, as some people say, the pain in our
souls fade over time, but neclection can also intensify our pain. Just as we should
try to resolve physical illnesses with a lot of attention and training over time, we
must pay close attention to the pain in our mind and soul as we solve our problems.
So, what do we do ? Like the covid-19 vaccination, our hearts, souls and minds
must be vaccinated. What does it mean to vaccinate out hearts? Vaccinating our
hearts means that we practice wellness and take care of ourselves. Rather than
trying to change the difficult circumstances we face, nurturing and protecting our
hearts, souls and minds is the solution to overcoming these difficult times. Starting
today, block out all the obstacles around you, and search for the light in your heart,
soul and mind instead.
To love is an endless way of learning. Lovingmust be renewed through constant learning. The best way to know if you have love or not is to ask yourself ‘Am I trying to know something?’
Saying “I love you” includes the confession “I am changing this way for you.” Love adapts and changes. If you stay in one place, any fiery love will quickly extinguish. My endless learning and change is the way of love.
