Description

From children to the elderly, the whole family is welcomed to attend, where people can participate and share the preciousness and love of family and have pride in the Korean culture. We hope this day will be a time for everyone to let go of the hardships and difficulties caused by COVID-19 and enjoy the feeling of spending time together.

Family Funday Fund-raising Event

For You Telecare Family Service (FUTFS) is a non-profit charitable organization which provides social and family services offering counseling, education and outreach services to Korean-Canadian families since 1999. Our organization was able to grow and continually offer services to our community with the support of the Canadian government and Korean-Canadian community. We would like to send our sincere appreciation everyone for participating in our fundraising event. I’d like to say a sincere thank you for your continued volunteer participation and active support of FUTFS.

This is an annual event where organize Family Fun Day to raise funds and promote variety offered programs and services with people’s needs. FUTFS is requested to aid the Korean-Canadian community. All proceeds will go towards promoting our campaign for building up healthy families and promoting appropriate volunteerism in the Korean-Canadian community and Canadian society.

We would like to invite you to join us for FUTFS’s annual fundraising event:

Family Fun Day

Date: Saturday, October 2, 2021

Time: 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m.

Location: Serena Gundy Park

Our hope is that this event will lift your spirits after these long months of the pandemic. There will be family games and programs that children and parents can enjoy together. A Family Cooking Contest and a traditional Korean Hanbok Fashion Show Contest will be held. Many dedicated people help plan for and carry out our Family Fun Day in order to support our programs and services, office operations, and volunteer programs and services. This event is held to help build healthy families and communities, to exchange cultures with other ethnic groups, and to increase our strength and power to care for one another.

FUTFS  will continue working to build a healthy Korean society and families. We sincerely hope you will be able to participate in this special event and enjoy the activities we have planned.

Register in Family Funday 2021

        Please download the "Participation Application Form" and "Donation Form" files below, print them out, and provide them to us along with the donation amount at the Healthy Walkathon event. For reference, the first departure is at 9:10, and each group departs every 10 minutes (e.g. 9:20 departure, 9:30 departure...). We will be grateful if you arrive 10 minutes before departure time. Please email us at [email protected] with the time you would like to participate and your name. If you don't send an e-mail and arrive at random between 9 o'clock and 11:10, you will be automatically organized with the next group of departure.
