The “Leadership Forum”, which concludes the BASE project, is a forum where invited lecturers, participants, and leaders of the first and second generations share, discuss and help each other. It is a time for the whole group to share and discuss the leadership of the Korean-Canadian community in small groups of young people, adults, and seniors. These groups discuss the direction and measures that leaders for the Korean-Canadian community should take. It aims to help emerging leaders contribute to the succession plan and development of the next generation of leadership. In addition, various materials collected through research at FUTFS will be made into a booklet and distributed. This forum day provides the Korean-Canadian community opportunity to actively demonstrate intercultural competence and leadership to connect, share, and care for each other by escaping from generational conflict and distance.
