This is an introductory English program where participants learn medical terminology and health-related English expressions commonly used in everyday life and healthcare settings, together with nursing students from Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU). Through conversation-based learning, participants will practice practical English for communicating with doctors and healthcare providers, visiting hospitals, understanding medical documents, and accessing health information. The program is designed to be welcoming and comfortable for participants who are less familiar with English.
